What is this?
SVEP helps rural SHG members and their families start small non-farm businesses through local business support and access to capital.
Objectives
- A DAY-NRLM sub-scheme supporting SHG members/families to set up non-farm enterprises.
- Deploys a cadre of Community Resource Persons – Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EP) to provide business support.
Who can apply?
- States/UTs select implementing blocks per programme guidelines; early-stage rural enterprises run by SHG members/families are the beneficiaries.
What do you get?
- Access to a dedicated Community Enterprise Fund (CEF) providing capital for enterprises.

- Apply through the SVEP portal, subject to your block being an SVEP-implementing block.
